York & Ainsty (South) Statesman ‘06 (by Brocklesby Stanley ‘01 out of Curlew ‘01)
Joint-master and Huntsman Harry Stephenson said: “We used him last year as a stallion hound for pups to enter September 2010. He’s a big strong type, as are his sibling litter, and he was used to breed some size back into the pack. He’s a good working hound, not that pretty, but a useful type. He is sponsored by Hilary and Anne Gregory, of Moat Hall, near York."
Please support our three not-for-profit hunting projects which are already making a difference to our rural ecomomies, by creating and sustaining jobs.

"Hunting supports so many small businesses and we should be proud of what we do. I have collected hunting pictures all my life and never felt embarrassed about this. Hunting is part of the life of the countryside. My son went shooting last weekend and brought home his first pheasant. I am proud of him. If hunting fails to get a Repeal, surely shooting will follow.
We shouldn't give up on what we do because of the views of the minority – we should just accept they have a different opinion."

I come from an old established hunting family, but only started hunting myself in 2002. After my first day on a borrowed horse I was completely hooked. When hounds spoke it was like coming home and from that day I bought my own hunter and we’ve never looked back.
An antique dealer by trade, I was lucky enough to steer my business into the birth of Field & Country Antiques, supplying antique, vintage and second hand hunting items to the many lovely hunting people I’ve met at Hound Shows and Point To Points up and down the country, and to the loyal customers on my web site, many from as far afield as the USA, Australia and Italy. I have hunted with The Blankney in Lincolnshire for five seasons and I’m currently walking Sanguine and Saddler our fourth couple of puppies. It’s a real thrill to watch them grow and work.
I met my husband out hunting and last November we got married at a meet of The Blankney surrounded by all our hunting friends and hounds. It was a perfect day and summed up how important hunting is to us and has become our way of life.
