"Hunting supports so many small businesses and we should be proud of what we do. I have collected hunting pictures all my life and never felt embarrassed about this. Hunting is part of the life of the countryside. My son went shooting last weekend and brought home his first pheasant. I am proud of him. If hunting fails to get a Repeal, surely shooting will follow.
We shouldn't give up on what we do because of the views of the minority – we should just accept they have a different opinion."

Hunting Personality of the Month ...we are just everyday people...
Annie Binny

Annie Binny
I started hunting as a child with the Cumberland Farmers. I also hunted with the Dumfriesshire Otterhounds, and the Kendal & District Otterhounds. When I married I began hunting with the Cumberland Foxhounds. In 2002 I sold my horse and started hunting on foot with the Blencathra, and have followed them ever since.
I try and hunt as many days per week as allows, and just love the people and the friends I have made - they all tease me about my unruly terrier Monty! I now have another puppy Josie, who already has a great following. The fell packs are so unique. It’s a great honour and privilege to hunt with them: for watching hounds, for the breathtaking scenery, for the exercise and the general atmosphere. I just love it!
